I take the Flinstones Multivitamin and Bariatric Advantage brand B12 and Calcium. The unflavored un jury Protein Powder isn't flavored so it isn't likely you'll get sick of it. Every Protein that I liked pre surgery I couldn't stand post surgery so be careful about buying anything flavored in bulk. There are a couple of forums on here where people have posted long lists of Protein Drink recipes so that should help you out.

GENEPRO unflavored. It really and truly is flavorless. I add it to crystal lite. It can be added to everything!

Oh...I'm going a few days before you. I'm going on 1/12/15, just got my date confirmed today. I'm excited, nervous, and a bundle of emotions today. Best wishes with your surgery!

@@shizwiz thanks. We both thought it would be beneficial to do it together, that we we aren't tempting each other and can truly support our new lifestyle. I'm excited and nervous at the same time, but looking forward to us doing this together and becoming healthier for the next lifetime together! I'll make sure to give updates on this site for the both of us.
You are right, you may be able to encourage your boyfriend with your changes and once he sees how "fly and fine" you are getting he may be motivated a little more!

I'm super excited and nervous right now. I'm trying my best to learn new eating habits before the time gets here, telling myself to slow down when eating, drinking slowly, making sure I'm exercising and all the good stuff that will be part of my life from here on out. My husband will be going after me in March, so we are looking forward to major changes for 2015. If anyone has already had their procedure and has useful advice, please feel free to dish!
Best wishes to all the new sleevers!

@@proudgrammy LOVE that post Thank you!!! I am certain I will come back in read it over and over!
@ You are SO lucky to have your husband doing it as well! My boyfriend and I are both overweight and I am the only one taking the surgery route. I am hoping that MY change will also help him, however, I am also scared that he might be a bad influence on me while trying to recover :/ YIKES!
I have also heard (and have seen on youtube) alot of people get baby plates (super cute ones!) and utensils to eat with. Also, I have seen a bunch of people use children's bento boxes to pack their lunches and Snacks in for during the day- the little compartments are smaller and about 2-4 oz each. I am going to get some to use to make sure I am using the right portions when I am post-op
I wish you and your husband good luck!
    Ta-ta for now!
