I can't believe it, in just about 50 hours (not even days anymore) I will be amongst the banded. I'm not on any special diet, but my Dr threatens to cancel if I gain weight, so I am behaving anyway (if you don't count that bottle of wine last night with dinner). I am nervous, excited and clearly overplanning (do I need a checklist for an overnight visit?) I can't wait, but can I make it once I'm done? Will the dogs jump on me after surgery and will I have to kill them for it? Will I ever enjoy dinner in a restaurant again? Will people chat more about the band and less about children in the chat room? These are the questions which keep me awake at night. I will probably not blog again because it seems too boring for me, even though I have gotten great strength from other peoples blogs, and know that maybe, just maybe I will help someone else...plus I am supposed to go back and read this in the future to help me. We'll see. Enjoy! John
