Thank you so much spideymom. It always great to find nicew people to talk to especially since the only person that knows I going for surgery is my husband. I dont want to hear negative comments...I made up my mind and only want support. I must say that my husband has been so supportive and understanding through this. well let me start off by saying hello to all you! I am nervous and excited my surgery date is may 29 2009 in Tijuana. I can't wait to start my new improved life but the thought of surgery scares me...even though I have had quite a few in the past couple years. It sounds like all of you are doing so well. I hope to keep following up with you. Hearing others seems to really calm me down. Thank you in advance!

did you have the surgery there? If so how did it go? I am suppose to have it on May 29. I am a little nervous but so excited. Can you tell me about your experience? Thank you in advance.

Well after doing a lot of research I want to work with Dr. Pompa and hopefully the end of the month I will be there (just waiting on our passports because of the new border law). What does the pre-op diet consist of? did you have a problem with the hotel they have you stay at? how long did it take before you weren't in pain from the surgery? sorry to ask so many questions but it does help. Im glad to hear about your positive experience. I am trying to schedual for the end of may to have the lapband. But they say the surgen is dr lopez but from their website the surgery will be proformed by dr pompa. I am excited but very nervous at the same time. i have been trying to do my homework on everything in hopes to calm my nerves! Do you mind me asking how much you have lost so far? Is it uncomfortable. do you feel it in you? im sorry to ask so many questions but very courious. Thank you
