  1. Michelle I had Aetna HMO and was denied the first time. I did a 10-month weight management program on my own with a local hospital before I submitted my information to Aetna. My doctor also had me come in to re check my height. I was putting down that I was 5"7 but really I was 5"5. I was approved within 3 weeks. I called Aetna everyday to check for an update. I had my band placed on April 27th. Good Luck :Yawn:
