  1. I work for the hospital where I will have my surgery. Went to the seminar and have done many of the preop requirements since I do not have a long diet or waiting period to complete. It's went along fast... I will see my surgeon in his office one on one for the first time this week.... Surgery may be in Sept if approved. What questions should consider asking and was there something you did not ask but wish you did? Thanks, Chad
  2. We have a world market close to us. Thanks
  3. Hopefully, will have surgery early fall. Almost done with requirements in July. I am an RN, too.
  4. Thanks! Was wondering about powder grit
  5. Where do you buy them?
  6. Are there certain EAS shakes or products work best for your sleeve and nutritional needs? I see there are many? powder, premade or both? Seems like a good amount of protien. How long are u full on one? Do we want high Fiber after surgery? Other brands? Thanks in advance!
  7. Definately like a security blanket. But it is choking me now.... Look forward to a new life.
  8. I will have all my preop recs done by July 16. MD says we should have an answer in August.
  9. Thinking about all the past hurts, embarrassing moments, pain, mistakes, disappointments I have used food to cover up. I am wearing many of those scars literally today in my over weight body. I can't wait to the day I have surgery, that pivotal point of letting go and finding freedom in who I am and who I am called to become. No more shame and embarrassment. Pray that I will be a much better husband, father, friend and man. Anyone have good insight on letting go in your journey? Freedom, Chad
  10. And not a XL beach towel, because that's the only one that covers now!
  11. If you need a foley, you will get it most likely while u are asleep in surgery.
