  1. Thank you for your thoughtful response. I think a new list is in order to refocus on why I want this. I will be sitting in a hospital room a large part of tomorrow. Plenty of idle time.
  2. Great idea, think tomorrow night I should be cutting the grass. At 95 degrees, that will help. I have a push mower.
  3. Was going to get mad at myself for not fully embracing my 6 week lower carb diet. But then I realized I gave up coke zero and other sodas, cut coffee down to 1 to 2 a day, and cut all alcoholic drinks to 1 - 2 a week. I actually don't have an official Sept date yet, but just had EKG and sleep study.... So that should be all I had left for approval. Maybe an official surgery date will help. Now I am struggling some with fast food, ice cream and carb treats. I have resisted a lot, but have not made the best choices. I do have a close family member in the hospital, that adds stress. So I just wanted that out here for support and accountability. Thx
  4. Seems like they may be doing some of this to satisfy their own uncomfortable feelings. You did this surgery for you first. Be at ease with your plan and they should follow. Sorry you are going thru this.
  5. Is this a testimony or an advertisement?
  6. Well, tropical smoothie is a restaurant chain. So I would get all 20 oz at once. I looked and most have 45-60 carbs :'(. The whey protien is 22 grams in the 20 oz. Hmmm
  7. I am quite fond of a tropical smoothie with splenda and whey protein now. But they are 20 oz! Would they be okay to eat after surgery and it seems like I would waste a lot of one? Thoughts...
  8. They are assigned to you based on the number of times you have posted.
  9. I didn't have to for approval, but since this is my first surgery in years, they just want to know I am heathy for the procedure.
  10. Sharts! My favorite post eva!
  11. Have an EKG Wednesday. Think that is the last of my surgical and insurance requirements. The excitement builds!
