  1. My nut said to me they are not whey isolate, so there is a lot of filler in them and we cant count all the protein listed.

  3. Just got my first B12 shot today. They are every other week for three months. Wonder how long before I feel more energy? Soon I hope
  4. My surgeon to be, called and said my B12 was low and I needed to get monthly shots. I am okay with self injecting, but wanted to know if others felt better afterwards. How long before you noticed a difference?
  5. Spent some time with some of my guy friends this afternoon and was able to share my wls plans with them. Not all of them knew before. Went well! Have not found a good time to share with my parents. Maybe tomorrow. Plan to stay postive no matter what. To health!
  6. Just got all my pre ops, sleep study and EKG done. Was told they will submit to my insurance this Monday and should hear back from insurance by Friday, 8/10. Planning Surgery mid September. Sent a message to my boss to expect a two week time off request for bariatric surgery today in September. Need to tell the folks this weekend, they they are visiting. Little apprehensive, even though I am an adult man. I don't need their understanding and approval, but it would help. Hoping for a good outcome. My wife is more excited as it approaches. Love her support. Thanks for your support!

  8. Sepsis, leaks, bleeds, jaunice are all things to not mess around with. Please go to the ER and get blood work and some real scans done. You could save yourself a lot of bigger problems if left untreated. Some even fatal at times. We care about u.

  10. Likely could mean you are dehydrated. Drink and sip....
  11. Usually means an in house nurse is looking at all the info to see if you meet their criteria. It may need the medical directors approval since it is elective surgery in order to be finalized. It's good because they are looking at your case, or they could just say that because a decision is not reached.
  12. No worries, those things just happen naturally as we age! Made me laugh.
  13. Two really good reads on slowing down and eating with intention.
