Yeah, i used real champagne - didn't know there was a fake kind LOL The recipe called for 2cups - way too much and the custard filling was gross too. got a good recipe I can use for my friends b-day? Girl, enjoy your success - You have lost 88lbs! you've come way too far not to be happy. I think you should get counseling because we all need to learn to love ourselves with all our imperfections. Not loving ourselves is what got us over weight in the first place. I've been thinking about what I'm gonna do about my thighs - but have decided not to stress about it - I can always opt for plastic surgery (or botox) later and so can you! One thing/step at a time! Enjoy yourself!

That's ALL I did - I'm all about basics - Fast & easy - I love anything you can put in a crock pot! I put some fresh mozzarella on top (I didn't have any shredded or I would've used that) I just didn't have any french bread in it even though I really really really wanted to and my bro always has some in the flippin house Ugh!

Here is the one Chris posted: French Onion Soup Gratinee - All Recipes I just sauteed 3 yellow onions in 1/4c butter. thru all that in the crock pot with 4 cups Swansons 99% fat free beef broth, 1tbsp worsteshire (sp?) a bay leaf & 1 packet of liption onion soup mix and let it cook on low for 5hrs. Basic!

Not the one from Chris this time - I didn't have all the stuff in the house. I just did a generic one - onions, butter, broth & werstershire oh, but I did add the packed of liption onion soup mix. I figured it would be good regardless because I put it in the crock pot so it could cook slow and all the flavors could mesh. its good!

Good morning All. I too need to have a good week before I mess around and don't get my surgery LOL. Jes, the french onion soup came out great - That's what I'm having for lunch and I figure we can have it as part of the clear liquids if we strain it. So last night my stepdaughter made champagne cake for my girlfriend and it was Nasty! guess I'm not a big champagne fan LOL - glad I didn't like it cuz that 1 bite was enough for me LOL

My step daugter is here and we are making Champagne Celebration cake - I trial run for the engagement party - gotta try to stay away from that. We were gonna head out to St. Isabella dog park in Richmond - it's great - the dogs don't have to be on a leash and it's right off the water so they can swim. There's a cafe there where you can bring your dogs in with you - we were gonna picnic there with Bo & Asia but now my husband is changing out light fixtures and my brother is lounging around drinkin a beer and said - i think I'm gonna barbaque.... surprise! He got asparagus & steaks & squash & SNACKS chips, dips , prezzles said he wants to watch a game & chill. Oh, did I mention he got POTATOES!!!!!!
