I am new to the website and new to being banded! I got my suregery done on April 3, to date I have lost 20lbs. I am hoping I can be where you are in 6 months! How AWESOME!! You are amazing! I understand about worrying about what happens when! I can see myself doing that. Because, even at 20 lbs lost, I don't see the difference, but so many other people do. What if when I lose lets say 60# I still don't see it?? ya know? Anyway Congrats!!!! Take care! and Keep going!! Krista

When I talked to the Psychologist, I basically told her what I wanted... as in "to be healthy again", I told her I had researched the band for over a year and knew it was a "Life Changing" event. Basically they are looking to see that you know what you are going to do. As far as anyone being denied.... I know of many people who have got the Band, and have not heard of anyone getting denied. I am sure there have been a few though, but for really good reasons. you seem to know what you want and what it all entails! I am sure you will pass just fine!:ohmy:
