  1. Heather, Congrats, I remember when my insurance called, I felt the same way. It is like seeing the light at the end of the tunnel  My family is very supportive also but it is nice to have someone to talk with that is actually going through the same process I am. If you want, we can keep in touch by email, my address is doxborough@comcast.net. Deb
  2. Thank you so much for including me in the April banders list. I really appreciate it.
  3. Hi Heather, I remember waiting, it seemed like forever, I had to wait 8 months before I got approved because I needed to go through 6 months of nutritionist appointments, it was worth the wait though. I went to Methodist hospital in St. Louis Park, they were awesome and I am going in for my first fill next Monday. Good luck to you and keep in touch. Deb
  4. I wanted to introduce myself and see if there are any other individuals in the Minneapolis area that are just beginning their new lifestyle. I had my surgery on April 6th and have lost 22 lbs. so far. I will be going in for my first adjustment a week from today and I am now back to eating again, the liquid diet was difficult for me but I made it through!!! I'd love to hear from anyone who is just getting started to keep in contact with. Thanks, Deb
