  1. What type and how much exercise did you do? What was your diet like? I need to step up my progress and need advice.
  2. I was wondering how much people have lost in their first year. I've only lost 53 pounds, I exercise like crazy. I do very well with my portions, although sometimes my food choices could be better. I just wondered if I'm in the average range for the 1st year or is there someting I can do to improve my progress. I WANT MORE PROGRESS!!!!
  3. My name is Julie, I'm 37. I got my lap band 2-5-08. My starting weight was 258. Now I weigh 205.My surgeon is Dr Michael Lara at Del Sol Bariatric Center in El Paso Texas. I am thrilled I did it. I have to admit the results aren't as dramatic as I had hoped, but it has helped me quit a bit. I guess I was thinking in the back of my mind when they were lecturing about the diet and exercise I thought to myself " I won't need to try that hard !" And even though I'm not really deprived, I do have to work harder than I expected. But as I said I am happy I had the surgery and would absolutly recomend it to anyone struggling with a weight problem.
