Hi my name is Dawn, I was banded in Mexico by Dr. Aceves in May of 2006. I live in Cottonwood, AZ. My weight loss has been very slow, I'm only 4'9 so I guess that may have something to do with it. But I was wondering if there are any support groups in AZ. I don't mind driving a long distance, so just wanted to know if there is anything going on. Thanks a lot.....Dawn

Hi Tina and Coyote, I'm also a new bandster. I had mine done on May 8, 2006. I'm going for my first fill next week on July 1st. I've only lost 16lbs so far. Believe it or not, I had my done in Mexico and had a great experience. I'm also going back there for my fill. I'm originally from Atlanta but just moved to Sedona a year and a half ago. I'm glad I got banded but I sure do wish my weight loss was quicker. I started at 194, now I'm down to 178. I wanted to have it all gone in 2-3 weeks, 4 at the most, LOL. Good luck to both of you!
