My dad went through the Kane Center for his lap band surgery. He had applied with University of Chicago, but they ofer the surgery without the additional "add ons" that the Kane Center offers. We could not be happier!!! The Kane Center prepares you for your surgery and offers you as many of the tools that you choose to use after your surgery. Dad had his surgery the last week of Feb and is down 48 lbs as of yesterday. Better yet, his diabetes is in check and he is almost off his insulin (something we never thought would happen). We could not be happier with the decision to go with the Kane Center. They have been more than helpful every step of the way. I am seriously considering the surgery as well and can assure you that if I do proceed, I will definitely go through the Kane Center.:tt1:
