  1. Thanks for your responses. To parrotheadCathy I did not have diarreah or vomiting. These were my symptoms..clamy, dry heaves, numbness in my fingers, dry mouth felt like my belly was going to burst. Also i did not eat ANY sweets. It was weird. My sis had the gastric bypass and she told me dumping syndrome symptoms. again thx for your answers.
  2. I get pains in my lower left side of my stomach when i walk.. anyone else experience this? also i had similar symptoms of the dumping syndrome??? my doc. said banders don't get dumping syndrome. this happen when i drank the juice to ceviche weird weird...had to go to the hospital.:smile2:
  3. I agree with your frustration. I was not informed AT ALL about the lap band. My dr. only did bypass gastric until about 6 months ago. So all the meetings I attended only refered to bypass gastric. So when I was told I had no restrictions and i had to be on soft foods for 3 weeks which only consist of 2 oz. for each meal it is tough. I will get a fill on May 5th I was banded on 4/8
  4. I just had the surgery on April 8th. the realize band. I have been getting upper back pains ONLY when I eat. Is this normal, if so any suggestions how to deal with it?
