    I had the LAP-BAND® surgery done by Dr. Doru Georgescu from the Surgical Specialists in Thornton, Colorado in May of 2007. His professional staff quickly became like family. They are friendly, inviting and truly care about every patient. My life has drastically changed since having the surgery and I would definitely recommend it and Dr. G. to other patients considering the surgery! I got the best care at North Suburban Medical Center and had a quick recovery. I am no longer 'obese' and am looking forward to the rest of my life! Thank you Dr. Georgescu and his staff!
