  1. My pre-op resting is not until 5 days or so before. I have to do a COVID test at that time too.
  2. I thought I would be and I wanted to be, but my doctor confirmed yesterday that I will definitely be there overnight. That said, I’ve been seeing videos of people packing elaborate bags, but I think that might be overkill. I might just go with my toiletries and chargers and call it a day.
  3. I was wondering about this. I have stairs too.
  4. I’m nervous, but I wish it was sooner rather than later. I’m an educator and I was only able to get it scheduled 1 week before I have to go back to work! So I’ll only have 1 week off. Is anyone here worried about going back to work? Or are you guys blessed with staying home?
  5. Hi! I’m having surgery on 8/22/22
  6. Thanks guys, I'm wondering how are you all doing on exercise. Truth be told I am going from an extremely sedentary life, to trying to work out at least a little. Do you find THAT to be hard? I'm finding myself still tired most of the time, although I am starting to think that more of that is mental. Do you guys find your energy improving?
  7. Hello, I go for surgery on the 20th and going crazy on the liquids but I'm more excited then scared now:) Its getting soo close and a part of me really did not think this would ever happen. Its great and terrible and scary and exciting and nerve racking and everything all at the same time.
  8. I'm not so much scared about the surgery but scared about making it through those two weeks of liquid post-op after my two weeks of liquids pre-op and then getting on with the rest of my life...it's frightening...exciting but frightening none the less. I feel like I'm waiting on the line for a roller coaster.
