  1. Good news EVERYONE, I am not banded yet but, hope to be soon. I have had diabetes for 19 years and am on 4 different meds for it. My last AIC was almost 12. I am praying this will help me get my AIC down.My Dr does not guarantee it though because I have been a diabetic so long. How long have you had diabetes, the ones that are off meds?Good Luck to everyone.
  2. Has anyone had experience with BCBS of Utah and RIO Tinto employee?They want 12 months supervised weight loss by a physician before they consider surgery even if you have serious health problems.:smile2:
  3. My husband works for Rio Tinto and they have a rider on the insurance policy about weight loss surgery. does anyone out there have experience with this?
