just remember nothing tastes as good as being thin feels! Sorry about the run-around with your insurance & dr.s! I am self pay so there was no run around for me. I'm 10 days aways and have lost 8lbs on preop diet so far. High protein can also be nuts, eggs, lean meats, cheese, and protein shakes. If you wanna stick to chicken breast since its so lean-go to your butcher at vons/safeway and see if they have pollo asado which is marinated chicken and its delicious. Hope that helped! good luck!!
