  1. Hello to all my "co-bandsters", I have never posted here, although I've been a member for over a year. I was banded on Dec 29th 2005, lost 20 pounds initially and fell off the wagon hard, by not following the "Rules" and busying myself in a lot of other distractions going on in my life. I am the "poster child" for what not to do when you get a Lapband. I'm now experiencing a lot of Acid Reflux and have been scheduled for an Upper GI kind of scope on Oct. 29th. I am praying that there's nothing wrong with my esophagus or stomach or anything else as I have a new found determination to lose the weight that I was so eager and ready to lose in 2005, with or without my Lapband. I allowed a spirit of discouragement, get the best of me after gaining that original 20lb. weight loss back, but I have to, pick myself up, dust myself off, and start all over again. So I will be keeping you informed of my journey. Nettibea
