  1. I sure hope so. Good luck with your band op. It's not a magic cure but it certainly helps.
  2. Have you considered switching to nutritional shakes like Herbalife? They are working a treat for At least that way you will be getting the nutrition you need. Sounds like your band may be a little too tight.
  3. Hey good to hear from you and thanks for your message. I am supposed to be having surgery to remove 2 discs any time now. I was told 4-6 weeks 8 weeks ago so getting a bit fed up as I have been waiting nearly 18 months now. We have state healthcare here in Spain which is usually good but unfortunately the hospital in my area is very, very busy. Have you had your band yet? How are you getting on? I had mine done in Belgium as I didn't meet the critera for the UK and it was much cheaper. I've now switched to Herbalife for Breakfast and lunch and it's working a treat. Really need to get the extra weight off to help my recovery when I finally get the op. Hope to hear from you again.
  4. Hi everyone, Just found your site. Had my band fitted in May 2006 and lost the first 35lb really easily. Then managed to maintain that weight for 2.5 years (nothing short of a miracle for someone who has been yo yo dieting for 30 years) and am now committed to losing the last 35lb which I am finding a bit harder. Not helped by a back injury that has had me having to use a wheelchair for the last 18 months but I'm getting there and have lost 15lb since Christmas. Not quite the miracle some of the magazine articles I read would have you believe but it has been a fantastic tool in my lifelong fight with my weight. Goodness knows how much I would weight by now if I hadn't had it done.
