Thanks, It will be Easter weekend and I hate to stick someone else seeing that it is my weekend and holiday to work but I am afraid of driving and being in pain. How about driving? Are you allowed right away?

I will be having my surgery on a Thursday and I am a medical secretary. I was hoping to be back on Saturday. Think that is too soon??

Can anyone tell me how long they were off work after the surgery?

That is the way that I am looking at it too. I am on my second day of the pre op diet and I am at times kind of testy. How long did it take anyone to return to work???

Thanks. I will probaly be a little scared going in that day but I am so looking forward to having this done. I have a lot to lose but I know that I can do it. Any words of wisdom for me ?

I finally got my approval and a surgery date I am so happy and I could not believe it. My surgery is April 9 and I am on the pre op diet already. I cannot wait. Even looking forward to the pain so that I know it is finally done !!!!!!

I know where you are coming from I am waiting for approval too and the wait is horrible. I am so anxious. I am envious of all these guys that have been fortunate to already have their band but I guess that will be us soon enough !!!!!!!

Hi everyone. I am so close to getting approved and scared that I will be turned down again. :thumbup: I was denied last month because my husbands company had a clause that they did not cover this. The office called me friday and said that they reconsidered and now I am waiting for approval . Hopfully tomorrow I should hear something. I called to insurance today and the lady sounded very helpful. The wait is driving me crazy I am so scared I will be turned down again for some reason. My BMI is in the guide lines, I am diabetic and my pcp and surgeons say it is medically necessary What do you thinK??????
