  1. Hey guys, Nice to hear from slow losers. I am 15 months out and I have only lost 55 lbs. It has been a long slow journey but I would not change it for anything. I know I need to work out more and sometimes I don’t even have an excuse I just get lazy and need motivation. My goal is to lose 100 lbs. I am 4’ll and I started at 250 and am now 195. I have gone from a size 22 to a 14. I love it but really need to improve on my eating and exercise habits. Glad to know there are others that can relate. I am just not disciplined at all and am trying to work on that.
  2. I just had this happen to me as well. I always was around 215-220 and I stayed there for about 2 months. It was so hard. I did a lot of research and what I found talked about a “Set Point” and the “Survival Mood”. I finally got past it and just like Cathy dropped 5 really fast. Now I am going back and forth for this last two weeks. It will pass but it is still so frustrating.
  3. Hi Jenn. I had my surgery on February 20th and started at 241 right before surgery. I have 3cc's in my band now and am at 221. This means only 20lbs for me. It is really slow. I'm stuck and it is really frustrating. My eating habits have changed so much and still the weight is not falling off. I'm trying to stick in there though. You are not alone in the stuggle. I wanted to be way further in my journey by now too.
