  1. I was on it for a bit back in 2000. It was quite an unpleasant experience...All the warnings they give you about "stool" issues are true and then some.....Between the cost and the "(back)side affects" I stopped..... I wish you better luck than I had...
  2. Finally, 6 months later, my stuff is going to Blue HMO (FEP) for approval. PLEASE send me good vibes!!!!! :nervous
  3. I was told 3 weeks! I'm yet to be approved by ins, so we'll see. Good luck!
  4. I would ask to SEE IN WRITING where it says that it is specifically excluded.
  5. One of my favorite bumper stickers: "When Clinton lied, nobody died!" :heh:
  6. I've heard of people putting weights in thier pocket to up the bmi....

I'm 99.99999999% sure that it is MANDATORY for ALL FEHB plans to cover WLS. You have to watch which is covered AND what the requirements are.....Thanks for the BCBS Blue HMO Ohio info....I think mine's going to be submitted next week.....Send me GOOD vibes!
  8. HI, fellow nutter here.... I have depression, OCD, & PMDD. So far, mega-Zoloft and Nuvaring (hormonal contraceptive ring) has helped with them all. The OCD rears it's ugly head once and a while, but I try my best to not be too stupid.
  9. FED EMP> BSBC said that after Jan.1 2007, I could have the procedure covered due to changes in the 2007 I came across the 2007 call letter for FEHB on line and it is now REQUIRED that FEHBP plans cover WLS! Its' about time! I also agree to fight fight fight! The squeeky wheel gets the grease, huh? However, if you look @ the different plans, their requirements can be/are different, so be careful! :clap2:
  10. Went on continental last month....I'm 4'11" and 232, barely got seat belt buckled, but was with family so wasnt too bad that I ended up half in my skinny sister's seat....
  11. I live in cleveland and am going to st vincent hospital. you might want to check them out. for some reason i wouldn't trust a smaller facility....personal opinion...
  12. I have BLUE HMO now thru federal gov't and am THINKING of switching to UHC since Blue's premium went up to $214/bi weekly! UHC is comperable but $111/bi weekly. Anyone have lap band experience w/UHC, specifically FEHB? Any and all comments appreciated!:help:
  13. Don't carry cash (don't have any), plus I lived in DC too long to open my door for anyone. Credit cards are the only way to go.
  14. Try doing a search on "medicaid" in the threads....I think there was someting in there.....Also, I saw Capital One has medical loans. I won't qualify, but I saw while looking for some dental stuff....
  15. Personally, I'd use the terms "elected" and "re-elected" lightly! Money may not be able to buy happiness, but elections are another thing..... :peace:
  16. HI. I live in Ohio and I JUST saw it the other day....FINALLY some recognition here!

And who says we shouldn't have a license to have children? I couldn't read all the posts because it was making me sick and thinking of the horror I would be forced to inflict on someone if they even thought of touching MY 3 year old. I think you should just tell the truth, period. How would you feel if you were one of the children he molested and had their life ruined by him? Sorry, but I'm a firm beliver in the truth.
  18. You go OLD MAN! :clap2: I surely hope this list doesn't surprise anyone! What REALLY irritates me is that all the economic/social strife we have here in our own country, but there's TRILLIONS AND BILLIONS of $ to send overseas. SPARE ME!
  19. Personally, I think Rush is a pill popping idiot. Guess he's been out of the limelight for awhile and thought that was a good way to get back in. I'm wondering if after his oxycontin induced psychosis he will realize that he was way out of line. I'm wondering if he'd change his tune if HE got physically sick? Notice I say physically, because he's already mental. Same here, I hope he gets what's coming to him, we may never see it or hear about it, but as far as karma goes, I believe too! You go Sunta!:clap2:
  20. I would get the cpt codes for the surgery and fills (available online) and ask that way...
  21. I have the above ins and they DO cover it. check out the attached file (hope it attaches correctly). i've also been doing some research and it looksl like it will be MANDATORY to cover obesity surgery (didn't specify rny or lap) for ALL fehb plans..... anthem lap band policy.pdf
  22. I totally agree that Steve would be very upset over these idiots killing the sitngrays. Why are some people so dam ignorant?:angry
