My young nephew was so backed up that we thought he was going to have a heart attack when he used the bathroom. The solution we found worked like a miracle. We went to a Health food Store and bought a bottle of Peter Gillham's Natural Vitality Sweet Lemon Flavor NATURAL CALM, and followed the directions. The next day he had two bowel movements. By the third day, he was pooping easily within an hour of each meal. Wow, it made a HUGE difference in that child's life!!! I've been banded since March 2, 2009, and have lost 20 lbs. I use the NATURAL CALM at least twice a week to ensure I don't get constipated. If you use this per the directions for three days and you don't get any relief, then you may have something medical going on that requires a GI Doctor. Best Wishes!

I was banded March 2nd, & from what I hear, my situation is not totally unique. My Surgeon found & repaired a hernia. I am still experiencing pain, however I was at my home computer conducting some work by the 4th day. Good luck & much success with your banding.
