  1. Hi Roni, Okay, I'll be more than a lurker. I'll probably have many questions that pop up anyway. So, you were 90 lbs smaller 13 years ago? Isn't it something how weight just creeps up on you? I was injured at work over 14 years ago, had three cervical surgeries, and haven't been able to return. I was a Mutual Funds trader. I couldn't exercise a lot and all the medication caused me to gain 100 lbs! My girls are 22 and 20 and were in so many activities in high school, I don't know how I was able to follow them around in so much pain. It was worth it though. My husband and I were busy, busy, busy. Our oldest just finished her first year of med school and the youngest is now a senior at Baylor. I want to feel better again. I am sick of being in so much pain and I know losing weight will help and will allow me to live longer. I certainly don't want to be 125lbs again (pre-marriage, pre-baby weight)! My goal is probably around 145-150lbs and I weigh 254lbs now. I'm ready for this journey and I promise, even though I love to write, I won't write short stories every time we chat. By the way, Hanna is gorgeous! :blah:
  2. Hi, I am Denise and I live in Arlington, TX. I am waiting for approval from Cigna. My surgeon will be Dr. Richard Carter. I will "lurk" for a while, but will let everyone know when I am approved. This really looks like a great site with some warm and caring people. I'm excited to be here. I've included info about me in my profile. Take care, Denise
