Hey RyanX93, my name is Emily and I am 15 and currently weigh 300 I am 5ft6 I am also being evaluated right now too but my insurance is being difficult so I am not sure when I am going to get the band :thumbup: I carry my weight good too..I am boderline Diabetic and it runs in my family.. I am VERY disgusted at myself for letting me getting this way..:wub: I guess what I am trying to say is You're not alone.. And GO FOR IT!

So I have been going through pre-op lap band treatment for about 6-8 months and all of a sudden my insurance decided to dump me ,but I am going to fight them till the end, but if they still won't cover my cost then my family and I have talked about getting it done in Mexico.. and I was wondering if anyone has any information on the doctors and the hospitals down there or could even recommend someone..Thanks for the help,Emily

My name is Emily and I am 15 and currently weigh 296 my highest weight was 298 I am nervous/excited/a little scared..about the surgery :laugh: so any advice or comments you have good or bad I will read.. P.S. my goal is 135-140 my goal is not set in stone but I am thinking 140 lbs THANKS EVERYONE FOR SUCH GREAT RESPONSES! I DON'T HAVE A SURGERY DATE YET BUT I AM HOPING FOR SOME TIME IN APRIL OR MAY
