My pre-op testing consisted of sitting around from 10:30 am - 2:40 pm. I talked with a nurse, the nut, and a physicians assistant. They all asked me the same questions over and over. "Do you have any allergies?" "What is your surgical history?" "Do you have someone to drive you to and from the hospital?" I then had blood work. I was given special soap to wash with for 5 days prior to surgery. (Kinda strange.) Than I was told I was free to go. I felt like it was a wasted day away from work. But.....on a good note, I am one step closer. Good luck to you Aisha902! You got this! We will be ROCKING our sleeves soon!!!!

Thanks ladies! The whole lap band failure thing for me has been rough. I went into surgery so positive. I never had any doubts. (Of course, I wasn't aware of others having so many problems with them.) However, do to the failure, I am now so hesitant. I am second guessing and rethinking the simplest of decisions. I am so lucky that I have a great support system. I just do not know anyone personally who has had the sleeve. I am sure I will have lots of questions as I proceed forward. Thanks again!
