Tomorrow I have my pre-op testing appointment. I am not sure what I will be going through. In the last month, I have had a physical with my physician, an EKG, and blood work. All of the items on my pre surgery checklist have been completed. Well, whatever it is....bring it on! I am so ready for this surgery. I can't believe it is one week away!

    I'm having my pre-op blood work tomorrow too. Is there anything that would *stop* the surgery from happening? (Assuming my blood clotting test comes back normal...pretty sure that's important! Lol!) I'm scared they'll reject me. My flight is booked. My brain is ready. I don't want anything to stop this!!!!

    My pre-op testing consisted of sitting around from 10:30 am - 2:40 pm. I talked with a nurse, the nut, and a physicians assistant. They all asked me the same questions over and over. "Do you have any allergies?" "What is your surgical history?" "Do you have someone to drive you to and from the hospital?" I then had blood work. I was given special soap to wash with for 5 days prior to surgery. (Kinda strange.) Than I was told I was free to go. I felt like it was a wasted day away from work. But.....on a good note, I am one step closer. Good luck to you Aisha902! You got this! We will be ROCKING our sleeves soon!!!!
