  1. Hello to everyone. I a 29 year old soon to be 30 (like in two weeks)year old single mom of two. I have not been banded as of yet, but have my first dr.s appointment this month with my primary phycisian that will hopefully refer me and get things started. I have always been heavy. I haven't been under 200 pounds since 9th grade. I am currently at my heaviest, right at 300. Even though my situation is as dire as it is, I am still nervous about the procedure and its effectiveness, since I have read and been told that the weight can come back. In addition, I just have a fear of being cut on period. I am open and grateful for whatever help and advice anyone can give me. Please bare with me, I will post a picture soon. My hard drive was erased so I have yet to reload it with images. Thank you all very much and congratulations to those of you who have been banded on your success!................Barbara
