Two days before my surgery, I am excited more than nervous I think, mostly because of the changes this will bring to my life and my husbands life as well. He has been and is very supportive, which helps so much. I've logged onto the chat rooms and learned a lot just by reading other folks questions and answers. My manager had the procedure done last May and he has been wonderful at sharing things with me, which has helped a great deal too. So next time I write will probably be after my surgery. I am sure I'll have a lot of questions at that point too!

TOTALLY new journey..My lap band surgery is scheduled for Wednesday, March 11. I am filled with many emotions. Like most or all, I've struggled with weight issues all my life but didnt pay attention to the medical issues it was or would cause. I am looking forward to being healthy & being able to enjoy my grandchildren, new husband, riding our Harley and just enjoying life. However, I am a little apprehensive and I sometimes wonder can I really do this, will it really work this time? Wish me luck and say a prayer for me!:w00t:
