  6. Another fill, another mill!! so that makes 4mL in total now, another fill in 2 weeks. I can feel the difference in just 1mL! hopefully things will start moving again, as it has been at a standstill for 2 weeks! (but we did have Easter and a holiday!)

  13. Had my first fill today, when the doctor drew back to see how much was in the band from the surgery, there was nothing! No wonder everything goes down! So I now have 3ml in a small AP band, back in 2 weeks for some more. I managed to eat fine tonight and drinking is not a problem...
  14. it is so hard to remember that this is a slow process, I am very impatient too! I wanted to be skinny years ago! but feeling better every day... I need patience...
  15. looking forward to my first fill on Tuesday, I need it...
  16. Well after getting more fibre in my diet! The weight is slowly going down again. I am also only trying to have 4 small meals a day now instead of 6 as you do on liquid. Waiting now for the 7th April for my 1st fill and the 24th February to eat ''normal'' foods again!
  17. Thanks for the reply and reasurance!
  18. Hi all, I have a numb sensation under the large incision? Is this normal? Not really worried, might have just been disturbed by the surgery which was on the 25/2 so over 2 weeks ago. Any comments on this would be good...
  19. Having the same problem! I can see why it is called hell waiting for a fill...
  20. I actually have been perscribed the pill for facial hair, one called Yasmin which has an anti androgen (anti testosterone) in it and it works well, I skip the breaks because I don't have to have a break as I don't ovulate. It helps!
  21. How exciting! I am trying some slightly thicker food tonight as I am getting too hungry!!
  22. I can understand the frustration on not being able to work out! but be patient with yourself, this is a life journey not a quick fix! Suzie x
  23. Just try different things, but add the extra liquid. My Mum used to work in an old folks home, so she has given me a few tips on vitamising foods!! The Beans were so good they hung on for 3+ hours! finding that liquids are starting to last less, so having to get slightly thicker now to compensate. Good luck with you blitzing!!!
  24. Hi all!! I started my new 'banded' life on the 25th February and would love to talk to other who have done so too!! Suzie
