  1. Happy 37th Birthday RLJ1380!

  2. Happy 36th Birthday RLJ1380!

  3. I was banded on 3/31/06 and had lost 70#'s when I found out I was pregnant the first of January. My doctor removed most of the fluid from the band, I still have 1.5 cc. I eat all the time and eat more than I should be eating. Everyone keeps saying "Oh you are pregnant, enjoy it!", but I am scared to death I will stretch out the pouch. I try to stop after a few ounces, but my stomach is still growling. I am still following the no liquids, chew slowly and all that. I have even been considering asking the doc to put some fluid back in. Does anyone know if there is a way to tell if your pouch has stretched?
  4. I was banded on 3/31/06 here in Louisville, KY. I had my 3rd fill on 12/7/06. I just saw that the doctor charged my insurance $1075.00. This is the first charge since my surgery in March. I never imagined that a fill would cost that much. I have to pay 50%, so I am worried. Is this the going rate?

    Road to "TWOterville"

It is so hard to not eat more than you are supposed to when you go out to eat. The food is soooo good! I have a hard time. I just hit 219. I am looking so forward to being back in the 100's. I was banded on 3/31/06 and have lost 53 pounds.

    2 Oz Not Enough!

My doctor told me that 2 ounces was the max capacity of the pouch. I have been feeling really bad because I thought I have been overeating. I am still losing weight, not as fast as I had hoped, but losing.

    2 Oz Not Enough!

Hello! I am new here. I had my surgery on 3/31/06 (about 8 weeks ago) and have lost right at 30 pounds. Now that all the swelling has gone down and everything has healed, I am hungry more than I should be. I stayed with the 2 ounces that I was supposed to eat until about 2 weeks ago, but it is not enough. I go for my first fill on 6/8. I have probably been eating 4 ounces. I eat slowly and chew, but after 2 ounces, my stomach is still growling. Any suggestions? Will the fill help? I am scared to death that I am going to stretch out the pouch or cause the band to slip.
