  1. I was banded on 3/31/06 and had lost 70#'s when I found out I was pregnant the first of January. My doctor removed most of the fluid from the band, I still have 1.5 cc. I eat all the time and eat more than I should be eating. Everyone keeps saying "Oh you are pregnant, enjoy it!", but I am scared to death I will stretch out the pouch. I try to stop after a few ounces, but my stomach is still growling. I am still following the no liquids, chew slowly and all that. I have even been considering asking the doc to put some fluid back in. Does anyone know if there is a way to tell if your pouch has stretched?
  2. I was banded on 3/31/06 here in Louisville, KY. I had my 3rd fill on 12/7/06. I just saw that the doctor charged my insurance $1075.00. This is the first charge since my surgery in March. I never imagined that a fill would cost that much. I have to pay 50%, so I am worried. Is this the going rate?
  3. It is so hard to not eat more than you are supposed to when you go out to eat. The food is soooo good! I have a hard time. I just hit 219. I am looking so forward to being back in the 100's. I was banded on 3/31/06 and have lost 53 pounds.
  4. My doctor told me that 2 ounces was the max capacity of the pouch. I have been feeling really bad because I thought I have been overeating. I am still losing weight, not as fast as I had hoped, but losing.
  5. Hello! I am new here. I had my surgery on 3/31/06 (about 8 weeks ago) and have lost right at 30 pounds. Now that all the swelling has gone down and everything has healed, I am hungry more than I should be. I stayed with the 2 ounces that I was supposed to eat until about 2 weeks ago, but it is not enough. I go for my first fill on 6/8. I have probably been eating 4 ounces. I eat slowly and chew, but after 2 ounces, my stomach is still growling. Any suggestions? Will the fill help? I am scared to death that I am going to stretch out the pouch or cause the band to slip.
