  1. Hi I am glad you got your revision in the end. Sounds like it was an expensive nightmare though. How are you recovering now? I noticed you are take Dhea, is it any good? Jane x
  2. Bill, great news. There are a few of us now who have done the journey and are just getting on with life after weight loss. I am one and I cannot recommend VSG too highly. I have no difficulty maintaining and these days I forget I ever had anything done!! I still want to talk to seriously overweight people about the op though, because they remind me how unhappy I was before, and I hate the idea of anyone else having that nightmare when there is a solution. Jane x
  3. Hi Its taken me ages to stop stressing about it all unravelling. It does get better and I am pretty chilled about it now. Jane x
  4. Hi I am so pleased for you. You are looking very fit. Jane x
  5. OK, I have a confession to make. The shakeweight is lying on the bedroom floor and i don't know where the instructyion CD has gone as the house is like a building site as my dear husband suggested reworking the lounge and our ensuit bathroom 3 months ago and of course they will be finished for Christmas etc etc... Well I didn't pin him down to any specific year, silly me, so it's not but I am assured it will be done by end Jan, yeah, right. But basically I have not used the shakeweight since the 1st week. I have started kick boxing once a week though and that is helping the arms alot. Jane x
  6. Fill yourself up with roast chicken or beef and you wont be able to get the bad stuff in. Protein stays in place for ages, try an Atkins regine it will work, it did for me. Jane x
  7. We will be in Florida for a biz conference 3rd - 6th April and I fancy the keys either before or after this date? Any advice and we are both PADI sports divers too. Jane x
  8. Sometimes you need to move on. If the guy is an arse then find one that isn't. Why hang around for more of same? Jane x
  9. Its sooo fashionable to hate Pailin, well it is in the UK. Our 'intellegensia' are knocking themselves out on this at the moment, like they did with Bush. I am reserving judgement, being a social liberal but an economic conservative and all. Jane x
  10. Marks and Spencer lingerie is the dogs b's as far as I am concerned, deals with real womens bodies and they are super sexy
  11. Hi I think this is an age thing, have similar, sorry, Jane x
  12. Glad you had a great birthday. Jane x
  13. Jolanda, I completely agree. My life is completely changed for the better too. I now have an addiction to clothes and shoes to deal with though Jane x
  14. Hi Filo, I will keep my fingers crossed for you. Not long to go now :bananahuge:
  15. I guess I am lucky because the surgery completely broke my bad eating patterns into a million pieces. My tastes are completely different and I don't like carbs much any more. I think its in the lap of the Gods how your body responds to this procedure, so good luck. Jane x
  16. Fantastic pics, well done. You are compiling the best shrinking woman photos I have ever seen!! Jane x
  17. My hair thinned and then it came back again, now it is as normal. Took about a year to ping back completely. Jane x
  18. That is amazing, you look really great and very well. Jane x
  19. Hi tiffs, really nice pic. I will try to post one of my homage to Pris in Bladerunner, due for an airing this weekend at a couple of parties. Complete with avatar eyes. This being slim thing rocks, keep up the good work girls and boys, it's worth it in the end. Jane xx
  20. If this helps my surgeon aims to leave you with a stomach capacity between 125 ccs and 150ccs. I can eat 6 oz of steak at a go, but I am stuffed then. I am 17 months out now and at goal. Jane x
  21. I can think of no cons, I can drink wine, beer and eat enough to look normal in restaurants. I often ask for what I cannot eat to be wrapped so i can take it away by saying 'that was so delicious but I am full so can I take the rest home please'. No one is ever offended and it means by breakfast can sometimes be last nights steak!! I am very happy and I love it when people exclaim at how much I have lost. I have got used to it and I rarely see people I haven't seen in a while so I love the look on their faces when they see me like this for the first time, perhaps I am just as bit shallow and needy Jane x
  22. You are a star!!! Jane x
  23. Hi Kim and look forward to hearing from you on this forum. Sounds like you are doing really well. Jane x
