Hi, I'm Jennifer. I am 31 years old. Actually found out my surgery date yesterday. It is going to happen June 2nd. I was hoping for it to be sooner BUT at least I will have some time to go through all the emotions that i'm sure will creep up. Kind of in a nervous phase and am worried I won't lose weight.....

Hi everyone, I'm Jennifer and I am so excited to have found this thread! I saw Dr. Robinson yesterday at Brigham and Women's Hospital and was given a surgery date for June 2nd. :thumbup: I am still new to all of this stuff but hope to get to know people better!

I was afraid that my insurance was going to make me do a MD supervised 6 month program but I guess I lucked out! This certainly is not a quick procedure- I started the process back in October. That's a city hospital for ya! Good luck to you!

Congrats- I just got my surgery date today- June 2nd. Still a ways to go. I'm a bit nervous....
