I just had my seminar w/ Dr.V. I am trying to find other patients to see what they thought about the whole process. I really liked him and was very impressed by his staff. I know that he is super booked up but you said that he was worth it?

I also think he is a bit more expensive than most...

I totally agree. I though the whole Caprica/Baltar seem in the future was a little strange. I really an excited for the new series although I don't really know what to expect. I am a bit sad that I dont get to come home on Fridays with a new episode waiting for me!

I hope that you get to that "sweet spot" soon. I know how frustrating it can be. I have got a good friend that had the band put in in Dec. And she just doesn't feel like she is getting the resriction she needs.

I am looking forward to it ( hopefully) sometime in the future. I joke with my husband saying I will be a quick learner bc I dont want to get sick.

lol.... No date yet, I just finished getting all the testing done. I have myCardiac clearance on Friday and then it goes to the Doc to sign off. They said that should take a week or so.

Well, the weight will start comming off. your body could just be slowing down a bit!

Does your post-op plan stink? Some people's doctors seem to be more strict than others...

Whhoooooo Hoooooo.... You are almost done!!! It sounds like you got a bit of work to do for the paper but that is ok. You will be fine!

It also sounds like you have a good bit of restriction going.... How many fills have you had??

You are kidding! I think I would be very angry! My insurance asks for 30 days to approve it too! OMG... I dont want to wait that long... I hoep they get it figured out... I was told it might be a few weeks. I can't beleive it took them 2 Mo!

I am glad that your class went well! Are you going to go to the picnic this weekend? I though about it but I havent met anyone yet.... I think it would be weird. I am going to go to a Saturday Support Group next month hopefully.

Congrats on the Progress , keep it up!! I havent been banded yet so I am super jealous! Your daughter is beautiful BTW!

Haha! I KNOW!!!! I have ahd to do a full follow thru with barium.... 2 bottles... It took me 2 HOURS to drink it all... Every time I tried to drink it I would gag.... She kept telling me, " If you get sick...You have to start over!" *cringe*

Haha! I was reading your blog and I agree about the Barium! I have Crohn's and have had Barium swallow and it is the most God Awful stuff! I think it tastes like gummy bears and asprin....

How was your appt? I hope it went great! You were right.... The Barium was not that bad this time. I did like watching the x-ray machine though! That was kind of cool.... How bad was the liquid diet?

I am currently in the process of testing with Dr.V! How hard was the process, if you dont mind me asking?

I am doing really well.... I am waiting for a slot to open up for a consult with the Doctor I want to go to. That seems like a lot to have in your band. You must need more though because you dont feel that restriction! What did you think about the series final?

I am in NC Also. I have not gotten my band, however, I think that anything will help IF you give it a chance and have faith. You still have to work hard and eat right or it wont work. Maybe before, you didnt have the right fill amount? I wish you luck!
