  1. Hi all, I was banded on February 27 and have lost 27 lbs. so far. I go in for my first fill on April 1. I have been doing fine with eating -- no pain or problems -- and has resumed most exercises. However, I am occasionally getting some pain at the port site. It isn't constant is just happens a couple of times a day but I will get this kind of sharp pain right around the site. Has anyone else experience pain at the port site? Thanks, Rachel
  2. Hi All, I am scheduled for my surgery on February 27. I am very excited and a bit nervous. This is day 9 of my liquid Protein diet to "shrink the liver." Yesterday, I had a little stumbling block -- I was just so sick of all the sweetness from the protein shakes, yogurt and sugar-free Jello so I ate fat-free cottage cheese and some cheddar cheese. I knew I shouldn't but I needed something that was not so sweet. I am feeling guilty today -- I hope that I didn't totally screw myself up. Any advice? Thanks!
  3. How did your surgery go? Mine is on the 27th and I am on my 8th day of the liver shrinking diet. I am having a hard time today. I really want to chew something!
