  1. Today was a much better day. i made it thrpugh on program with no deviations. The bullion really helps curb the hunger, and it counts as liquid as well. It helps to stay busy too, so you don't just sit around and think about food. Tomorrow is another day, I am hoping it will be a good one.
  2. I have a September 3 surgery date. My doctor has a 2 week protein bar / protein shake regimen that I was supposed to start this past Thursday. I had to have both an upper and lower GI scope to get cleared for surgery. Those were done on Wednesday and Thursday last week, so no real food, only liquids for those days. Then came the weekend - we had out of town guests Friday and Saturday. I did pretty good on the shakes each day until dinner, when I broke down and ate. Today is better, although I am starving. I am really worried about shrinking my liver, as my doctor ordered a CT scan for my abdomen to diagnose some spots. The spots wre no big deal, but they were concerned about the size of my liver. This pre-op diet has to work for me, as I have almost a year invested in this process so far. I am really having a hard time with will power, but need to find a way to tough it out. Good luck to all of the other September bandsters.
