What exactly IS a little bite?
Interesting question...I always thought 'little bite' referred to the amount of food we put in our mouth in the first place...to chew...not the actual chew itself. Becky

Too Tight or is This Band-Life?
leenerbups-sounds like your completely normal...lunch/dinner is fine. kareyquilts-I think in your case just chew more...chicken is difficult...you have to literally chew and chew also helps to have some liquid based sauce like dish to help 'glide' the chicken down...If you don't fee fullness yet...go bak to your filler and get another one...my dr recommends I get adjustments every month or so. mlg2007-I also have a 4cc band and I am on 3.5 now but still would'nt say its my 'sweet' spot..still I am loosing weight with a little self discipline...dang!

Anyway to prevent sagging skin???
My dr always tells me that the slower you loose weight the more your chances of having less amounts of flabby skin in the end...'cause slow weightloss gives the skin a chance to shrink with the rest of you...dunno if this is a medical fact but he is VERY certain of it!

To do or not to....
Hi ya ohiobluegal We all started this journey with worries, fears, concerns that we would'nt be able to do all required...but as with anything its a one day at a time journey!!! If your priority is to loose weight and you are committed to that...even if you make a few mistakes one day you have always got the next day to make up and try and make good choices...I love my food...my eyes are way bigger than my stomach...sometimes I get in trouble with this but tomorro for me is always a new day...You will never know how you cope up with the responsibility until you try...but I guarantee that once you start seeing the scale going down and down that is all the motivation you will need to keep going.... Welcome to lapband talk and good luck for your consult in a few weeks...I hope you find all the answers you are looking for. Becky

need fill advice
there certainly is a fine line between restriction/no restriction isn't there? I dont' feel restricted hardly ever...but with me it all comes down to me doing my bit and making the best food choices I can...I try to have 3 meals a day...minimal/careful snacking and get aggressive exercise 4 days a week. I am still loosing weight...but I can't rely just on the lapband...it lets me down too often..I have to rely on myself.

Why Am I So Hungry?
meee hungry too...I find though depending on what I eat I can stave off the hunger for longer periods...if I eat a full vege and meat meal...I am not hungry for some time...whereas if i eat toast/pasta or something like that...I am hungry again within 30min

New from Australia
hi jc28... i really didn't do anything different...when I was in liquid stage I drank heaps of vege mix juices to try and get the nutrients I need...I also had heaps of milk based drinks ie milo/milkshake/smoothies/ etc I started on the mushies pretty early...earlier than my doctor would have liked so I just blended all my meats/vegetables together and mixed with a bit of milk and butter....my favorite dish was tuna morney...hmmm yummy...I had heaps of this. but baby was fine and continued to put on weight all the way through...I did give her one bottle/formula feed a day also just because my milk was a little down at around 5ish...but other than that it all progressed well!
