Mine is Feb. 24th

My emotions were crazy my first week too, I feel your pain. i was banded on feb.3-09. I also have had the ball in throat feeling since about 10 days after surgery. It is driving me crazy! I am curious if others have had this and does it go away. I have tried, hot liquids,acisy food and meds, etc. I am on mushy foods now. same feeling... Am I eating too much? I am keeping in the 500 cal limit and only what is allowed... A bit frustrated, plus haven't lost anything after I started Mushy food....:sad_smile:

Yeahhh for Mushies!!! Who would think we would be cheering for something so crazy...lol Start mushies today, banded on 2-3. I am happy! We can do it!!!!

LOAO ( Laugh our butt off)! You know we literaly can with this thread!!! I am so looking forward to not missing any of those things! I can't wait! * being the only overweight person in my family * hating people say: girl you have gained weight!!!! * the thigh burns *not being able to tie your shoes comfortably *no energy,no desire to do anything Plus soooo much more... This Valentine's Day we should celebrate what we will not miss! CHEERS! Especially to the ones that look at you weird when you order something to eat...what goes around comes around! When we are skinny, we can look at them wishing they looked as good as us!

Hey all! I am also a Feb. 3, 2009 bander! I think its cool to have this forum. Its funny to think of how many people in different places were undergoing the same thing the same day...lol Got mine in VA. Today is my first Mushy food day( Pureed). I am a bit scared to venture, but am sooooo happy to be off the liquids. I so want some chocolate for V-Day, but will most likely get sick...lol Not testing it! The worst thing was the shoulder pain, which is a lot better nowand the acid reflux bothers my throat. I am always hungry, though. Dr. said maybe after first fill that will help. Okay, I wanted to check in and hope you all have a great Valentine's Day!:ohmy:

Nooshie, I had a radical ( total) hysterectomy in 2002 and I was just banded on 2-3-09 and so far I have not seen any difference compared to others. I am on track losing. ( 15 lbs so far...Yeah!!!) I had a hard time losing and actually gained over 60 lbs since the hysterectomy. Banding for a sure option, :thumbup:I am so excited about banding...so far no regrets! Good luck!
