  1. Hello, I am very interested in the band but I am afraid I might not "qualify." I am one of those people who are really really small boned/petite framed. So I can be quite overweight for my frame and still not look it or fit the typical numbers for overweight. My normal weight (before kids) was under 120 and I wore a size 4 AND I was not super skinny looking, I still had some meat on, lol. I am 5'5. Now, according to the BMI calculators I am "obese" (yeah, no news to me) but my BMI index is 31.5. I have gained over 70 pounds in the last 2.5 years, going from a size 4 to an 18. Since my BMI is under 35, any way I could still be a candidate? Any input would be appreciated. It was hard for me to get up the nerve to ask. Sincerely, Y
