  1. Hi there, I have my first orientation with Fremont Kaiser on Sunday. Up til now I have been researching gastric bypass, but am liking the idea of lap band a lot better since it is less invasive. I am hoping that everything will go through since I am 100lbs overweight but do not have any issues (ie diabetes or high blood pressure). Like most of you my weight has been a lifetime battle, and I am looking forward to finally have something to help me fight that battle. So any advice will be great.
