  1. 2 minutes on ur first run!!!!!!!!!! i couldnt run for more then 20 seconds when i 1st started out!!!!!!!!!! ur sooooooooo little...my friend claims to wear a 12...i think she is more like a 20...i showed her ur pix and said "this is how a size 12 should b done"...i know u want to lose more but u r rockin the s#i^ out of the 12's!!!!!!!!!

  2. yes...my insurance did pay for my panniculectomy...i had to pay out of pocket for the mini tuck portion of the surgery...but it was a lot cheaper without me having to pay for the anesthesia (spelling).

  3. i'm loving ur new hair...i'm thinking about cutting mine off 2...congrats on getting in2 a 6!!!!!!!!!!! i keep losing without even trying...my year will b here oct. 6th....hopefully i'll stablize soon!!!!

  4. i really hope u make the most out of ur tool and learn how to use it...the rewards are better then words can explain...seriously

  5. thank u for the compliments...if u exercise hard and follow the rules in the begining ...ur post-up diet to a t...ur going to b at goal in no time...i was 29 when i was banded...ur age is definitely on ur side..4 the first 9 months after surgery...i power walked ...jogged and rode my bike...when i say power-walked...i mean it...no strolling...i added to my routine once a month...making my walks/jogs longer and longer...i lost most of my weight the first 9 months after surgery...in my 10th month i joined the gym...my routine is pretty harsh...and if u havent been exercising like i didnt prior to being banded i would start out walking

  6. i was 37 pounds down at my 6 week appointment. i started exercising IMMEDIATELY...my surgeon told me during my consultation...and at every appointment to walk...walk...walk...i listened...i listened...listened...lol...i wasnt able to walk much at 1st...but once i felt better i started walking a mile EVERYDAY and added a 1/2 mile to a mile once a month to my routine...i'm up to being able to walk 9 miles with ease...although i strictly work-out in the gym now...6-7 days a week for an hour and a 1/2 to 2 hours...

  7. its getting better...still some swelling...but better...still have all my stitches in...hopefully i will get them out on 10/19.

  8. lol...thats gym mixed with a lil plastic surgery...lol

  9. lol....i think people are getting tired of looking at me!!!!!!!!

  10. hello...ur looking great!!i live in van nuys and work in north hollywood...my surgeon is in west hills...but i was banded at uc irvine...i cant go the support group in west hills bcuz i was banded at irvine...is ur support group open to every1 or only for patients ur dr. banded...i have never been to a support meeting b4 and would really like to go to 1....

  11. thank u so much for all ur compliments...i know by ur comment ur going to do great....u'll b back on track and at goal in no time!!!!!!!!!!

  12. lmao....another poser....thats okay ...there r plenty of members on here with impressive bodies after having lap band surgery...scars and all...i love my port that sticks out like a sore thumb....its the band in me!!!!!!lol

  13. i'm far from done...so much tightening and toning to do...next year at this time i'll be done...u and i will be done 2-gether!!!!!!!!!

  14. i'm extremely reluctant to get anymore plastic surgery after having gone through this...i have agreed to having an inner thigh lift...but i refuse to get it done till sometime next year and my dad and grandma offered to pay for a boob job....lol....but right now i can't even think about going under the knife again and i think my body has gone through a lot in 11 months i need to let it rest 4 awhile when it comes to surgery.

  15. good luck with ur band...i cant wait to see ur after pix!!!!

  16. i read ur thread about not wanting to have plastic surgery...although i did have and need a tummy tuck i am not a fan of plastic surgery either....i lost 140 pounds in 11 months...i exercise like a mad woman...with that being said i could've used every cream on the market 24 hours a day and i still woud not have been able to avoid a tummy tuck...i'm 30 years old ...have 1 child and started exercising from day 1...i'm not sure how much weight u have to lose and a lot has to do with age...how fast and how much u lose...but the reality is creams work to an extent..and i wouldnt even go that far...if creams worked that well there would b no need for plastic surgery...with that being said i wouldnt depend on creams i would depend on exercise

  17. i'm so proud of u...a lot of people would've gave up on the exercise and used having band complications as an excuse....so now its my turn to tip my hat off to u...u'll be at goal in no time and i think ur going to get there b4 janurary...mark my words...i can feel it...

  18. only if u role with me!!!!!!!!!!!

  19. my recovery was awful...i got so sick from the pain medicine and didnt like having the drains hanging from my body...my stomach was so tight...like some1 was constantly pulling up and down on it...i havent tried on jeans yet...my stitches r still in...and my incision is still sore...i would image i'm a size 6...no bigger then a 7

  20. please...please...please stay off the scale....i honestly didn't weight myself unless i was at the dr.s office...thats y when people ask how much weight i lost every week...i don't know...i'm positive there were weeks i didn't lose anything...or lost less then other weeks...but i took it day by day...don't frustrate urself...ur going to get there...with as much weight as u've already lost...u'll keep going ....i promise

  21. i've lost 139 pounds...if i was 139 pounds i would look like paris hilton...lol...i'm feeling a lot better...hopefully i'll be getting my stitches out 2day and released back in2 the gym...i've been restricted to walking for 1 hour on the treadmill...and i'm ready for some exercise action...lol...i havent weighted myself for about 2 weeks now..i know i've lost more...i was sooooo sick after my surgery and didn't want to eat at all...i used to b afraid to c how high my weight was...now i'm afraid to c it too low...lol...as soon as they let me back in2 the gym i will b able to bring it back up in a healthy way by building muscle again...my face is looking a little sunken in and its not working 4 me...lol

  22. we r losing at about the same rate...58 pounds in 2.5 months is really impressive ....i'm almost positive u have me beat...however ur doing ur loss keep doing it...u'll be at goal in no time at all!!!!!!!

  23. i just can't wait to get these stitches out!!!!!!!!!!!! i haven't been able to wear jeans for 2 weeks!!!!!!!! i need to knock off the complainig...i know...i know...enjoy ur holiday weekend!!!!!

  24. 47 pounds is awesome!!!!!!!!! the first 9 months i power walked and jogged...i started power walking around my neighborhood...and added a 1/2 mile to a mile once a month to my routine...i eventually got up to power walking - jogging 7 miles 6-7 days a week...about 6 weeks ago i joined the gym...b4 my tummy tuck i was walking/running on the treadmill for 30 mins....doing the rotating stairs for 50 mins. and then the elyptical for 30-40 minutes 6-7 days a week and taking a spin class on saturdays...right now my exercise is restricted to walking on the treadmill for a hour until i heal from my tummy tuck...once i get the okay...i will start working with a personal trainer on my stomach...its flattned out but i want to build some muscle and will still do cardio...i try to burn 1200-1500 calories a day with cardio exercise but i had to build myself up to that....

  25. thank u so much!!!!!!!! feel free to ask me anything at anytime!!!!!!!!!
