  1. I eat some form of oats most days and dont have any I'll effects.
  2. I'm 52 pounds down and have knee pain and back pain pre-surgery. Unfortunately, it hasn't got better yet. I still want to lose 100 more pounds, so I guess we will see.
  3. Hope you feel better soon! Congrats!
  4. I just recently had gout. I'm 11 weeks post-op. I've cut shrimp totally out and watching my red meat. It seems to be getting better. I took half a dose of steroid, but my bs was too high, so I stopped. I Hope he feels better quickly!
  5. I thought a once read that over 40 BMI is morbidly obese and over 50 is super morbidly obese. ? I started just over 50 and am not sure I will make it to a normal bmi. My Dr said about 180 and I'm 286. I undoubtedly will have lots of hanging skin. Thank you all!
  6. How do you know the different categories of obesity? How can I find that information?
  7. That's terrible! I'm sorry she did that to you! I just dont understand people and how hateful they can be. Know you are better than that!
  8. Yes, I have been back to coffee for several weeks. I'm close to 3 month post-op.
  9. That's terrific! Congratulations! Love following your posts!
  10. This sounds terrible! We had our surgeries in February. I do get nauseated at times still. Hope you find answers soon!
  11. Try fairlife milk. I couldnt stomach one protein after surgery, whereas I could before surgery. Fairlife has 13 grams of protein per cup and comes in chocolate too. It doesn't have protein added. Good luck!
  12. You look amazing! Congrats!
  13. I bought one of those home meals at the store the other day. It was chicken fajitas. I ate it and thought I was going to throw up. Not sure if I ate it too fast or the spice? My stomach has been tender ever since. I have only throw bile up once, but this was a horrific experience. It's such a chore to find foods that don't hurt. I'm not a cooker much. I'm loving off yogurt and more yogurt. Ugh The struggle is real!
  14. When is your surgery? I had a different diet. I was allowed one small meal and chose dinner to eat. I cheated a little and still lost 16 pounds in one week. I dont get such a regimented diet. I don't personally think pickles could hurt. They're super low in calories. Best on your upcoming surgery!
  15. It looks like you have lost a lot yourself! Congrats!! We have the same surgery month!
  16. Thanks so much! I'm almost 3 months post-op and I initially thought I would lose faster. I need to exercise more. It's very hot today!
  17. I'm wondering if I should put my surgery weight or pre-op weight. I lost an unbelievable 16 pounds that week. If I add my week pre-op it shows I'm ahead of schedule. If I don't it shows I'm normal. My weight loss has slowed way down and I'm losing max 2 pounds a week. I thought I would lose 100 in 6 months, but I doubt it now. So easy to get discouraged even having lost quite a bit.
  18. I'm sorry you are going through this, it sounds terrible! Keep positive and praying it gets better!
  19. Definitely go with the Heloc! Maybe I will follow you. I need a lot, breasts, face, stomach lol Best of luck!
  20. I wore a holter monitor before surgery and was diagnosed with pvc's. It's not considered dangerous, but is scary to have my heart beat extra hard. Best wishes to you!
  21. I had my surgery at 53 ten weeks ago and just turned 54. It was not the easiest recovery for me and I had minor bumps in the road, but I wouldn't change my decision to have surgery. I was very scared, even though I have had over 10 surgeries. But, trust your Dr and do what they say and I bet you will do great and come away very happy! I had a choice. Die on the path I was on or chose to do this to help prolong my life. Congrats & best wishes!
  22. I take the procare vitamins, as I prefer to swallow them. I also take calcium chews and probiotic chew by nature made. I got a bogo on them. They are ok, but open to suggestions of better ones. I paid 19.99 for both. Thanks
  23. It's ok. A lot of people talk about the uncomfortable topics here. I think we all have these issues one way or another. Hoping it gets better soon!
  24. Yes, I had the same problem for the first 10 days or so. Tmi, but was dark orange. I think it's pretty normal and should subside. Good luck!
