  1. Mine in total took almost 8 months. It went by fast. Good luck!
  2. I am type 11 diabetic. Since surgery I have lost 53 pounds and am off my whole diabetes medication regimen, except 20 units of lantus at night. Diabetes is serious and I've had it for 15 years. I have life long complications from it and am excited to be close to being off all medications. I dont regret this one bit and am excited for my future. Best of luck!
  3. Yes, Grady cat! I can ear a cup of yogurt, but chicken is a different story. 1/2 cup and the brakes come to a screeching halt!
  4. I've always been able to eat normal, (mostly) during the day. After dinner is when I feel relaxed and I overeat. I wish it would just go away, but it's still there and a struggle.
  5. Wow! You look great & it shows!?
  6. Lol. I understand. We can only offer advice to each other. I definitely need to get it under control. I'm buying my daughter and her family food and gifts, which I normally do to some extent. I'm making poor choices lately and need to go to a support group. I definitely can't overeat at this point, so I guess it goes somewhere. I think I will look into volunteering, it is a really goo idea!
  7. Oops! I'm not even in this chart fluffy lol Maybe some day!
  8. I started at 330 then gained 8 pounds before my surgery. I've lost 53 pounds, but it slowing way down. I need to be patient and quit compating myself to big losers around the same surgery date. I initially thought I might lose 100 in 6 months, but would be happy with 22 more pounds in 3 months for a total of 75. Wish me luck!
  9. I'm spending every day. Doesn't matter what. I'm buying groceries and clothes for everyone. I think I'm becoming reckless. Today is my first day not shopping in probably over a month.
  10. Oh lord. I forgot to write it. I'm embarrassed. shopping.
  11. I'm becoming worried. Coming up in my 3rd month anniversary. I feel like I may be having transfer addiction. What do I do?
  12. Yessi, all the best to you. I I hope you have a quick recovery!
  13. Try my fitness pal and track your calories. I stalled for almost 4 weeks. It was discouraging, but I finally lost 6 pounds in April and have lost 4 pounds so far for May. As long as I'm losing I will take 6 pounds a month. That's 72 lbs a year. You will get there! Good luck!
  14. I was sleeved Feb 25th and have lost 52 lbs. It's dlowing way down, but I'm tracking with my fitness pal and wearing a Fitbit. I eat mostly the same thing for breakfast. Yogurt and pumpkin seeds. Chicken salad or tuna for lunch and shrimp, chicken or beef for dinner. Congrats on your weight loss!
  15. Not for me. I'm almost 3 months and my Dr said 1000. I exercise and track what I eat.
  16. I also used the fairlife milk and YQ plain yogurt with a small amount of honey. I could not tolerate whey at all.
  17. I was able to chose a bar or a piece of fruit and 4 oz of protein and 1 cup of vegetables. I also, can't do artificial sweeteners. I just bought monk fruit at Costco and hoping I can tolerate it. Could they work with you in the diet? Maybe plain protein and a fruit blended? Best of luck!
  18. Can you do another sleeve? Interesting! I hear people talking about revision to rny. I wish you all the best!!
  19. I'm 11 weeks post-op and I haven't had any problems with raw vegetables. I dont eat a lot, because I don't have a lot of room. I hope you enjoy!
  20. I take procare and buy them on here. My nutritionist recommends them.
  21. Mikey please be kind! You are coming off as rude to Seattle lady.
  22. I felt this way in the beginning. The first month I lost 40 pounds. The second month nothing. I finally an losing again and am at 52 pounds. I'm at 11 weeks. My weight loss has slowed way down and I'm losing about 2 pounds a week. I wish it was faster lol
  23. You look great! Congrats!
  24. I weight 292 one morning and then gained back to 296. I stayed there for almost 4 weeks. Then it took me a month but I've finally got to 286 which is 52 pounds lost in 11 weeks (today). I was convinced I would never lose another pound, but I just think I lost so much so fast that my body needed to catch up. I bet you will start losing again, but for some of us, it takes awhile. Good luck!
