  1. I was banded March 2nd. I started out at 266, was 261 at banding and I am now 255. I did the Carnation Instant sugar free with ice & lofat milk as preop and I ate the salads from Burger King and McDonalds. I craved broth at the hospital, I stayed overnight. I recommend staying the night at the hospital if you can. I was only given ice chips. I have started on soups and I have been eating real food, just really chewing it alot and I don't have to have as much. I stop when I start to feel full, it is hard remembering not to drink after. I had cream of wheat last night because it was on the list, this morning I woke up growling. I know because of the carbs. I know if I cut out the carbs I will be ok. It is nice saving money not buying so much food.
  2. I hope to get banded March 2nd, I need advice on what pre op shake I should be using.
