  1. Hi. I just got my lap band on Jan. 15 and am feeling pretty good now. Days 3 and 4 were hard and I was sick a little yesterday. Did not know it was going to be so rough, but I think I can stick it out. I've lost 17 pounds since December 20 when I started on liquids. I was originally scheduled for surgery on December 30, but was sent home because of an infection. So, I had to do the liquid diet preparation twice! I was banded in Dallas by Dr. Jayaseelan and he has been great! I'm lucky to have such a supportive family and tons of supportive friends. I'm looking forward to my weight loss journey.
