Can someone tell me how to figure what "50 percent of your excess weight" is?

My doctor says excess is weight is calculated at 100 pounds for the first 5 ft. then add 5 pounds per inch to get your ideal weight. Your current weight - ideal weight = excess weight -

You definately could do it unless you have some complications - I was off 5 days only due to what day of week my surgery fell on - I then went back to my 80 hour a week desk job no problem. Just remember to drink your liquids! -
