  1. Hi, My surgery date is March 26th. On one hand - I can't wait, but on the other hand - I'm freaking out. I'm kind of concerned because if I was able to follow the requirements of diet change and better eating habits (pre-op and post op), I wouldn't be fat and then I wouldn't need to have the surgery. Don't get me wrong, I want the surgery - but I don't want to fail either. A little over 2 years ago I lost about 35 lbs on my own, but when I had an ankle surgery I got lazy and began to gain weight, got kind of depressed - and now 2.5 years later I've got the 35 lbs back, plus a few. My body has got to be tired after being on the rollercoaster ride for about 15 years (up & down, up & down, etc.). Reading the posts on this forum helped me in decide to have the surgery. Keep your fingers crossed for me. :hurray:
