  2. Hello AmyMoe,

Your question about how do yu get the tickers?

Go to the tickers web site copy and paste and then you log into ladband and in the upper right corner click private messages. then on the left hand side of your screen scroll down till you see signature options then click on that and you will then paste it in the edit signature part. you can review it by looking at the top box where you just paseted and copied in the signature box. Hope i explained it ok.

  3. Hello Jill,

I just started getting hungry today, but I will tough it out because i did not go through this surgery for nothing that is the way I look at it and if I would start to eat things I should not then there could be more problems and i really dont want to go through another surgery. I do still get the shooting pain in my left shoulder and it hurts a lot sometimes, matter of fact i am going through it while I am typing this message to you. Other than that I am doing well. I am no longer on any pain meds. I am getting on my tread mill today to excerise for little .

Since my liquid diet I have lost 11lbs and my heights weight was 259 i am now 248. I would like to be 140 but I set a small goal for now which is 180 then i will try to get down to 140 and if I go beyond that is great. I am 5'6 and dont want to be too skinny so i thought 140 was a god weight to maintian.

    Thanks!

    Cherbear

  4. Recovery time is about 3 days but it all depends on you. I do Exercise started in February of 09 and I eat lots of Turkey and turkey burger, Chicken, Pork. I try to stay away from my red meats ( I love them but not as healthy as the others). I also eat flatbread which you can find in your local grocery store and it is 90 calories and 8 carbs. I eat noodles called Dreafields here is the website Dreamfields Pasta, Healthy nutrition frequently asked questions You can't even tell the difference in the noodles very good. Also there is a coupon on the website for a dollar off yout first box.

I do excerise 3x a week Monday, Wed & Friday. There are days I push myself harder to burn more calories. Good luck to you and your journey.

  5. And thank you.

  6. BTW....Thanks for the comment. It takes time but I a feeling better already. Can't wait to reach my goal of 130.

  7. Hope you enjoyed your trip. I no longer have pains in my shoulder. I have been keeping track of my weight loss since i have been on my liquid diet. I have lost 19 lbs so far in 3 weeks. my weight loss has slowed down a bit. the only thing i dont like is my scale says 242, Dr Garcia's scale says 237, I should go by his scale because it is less, but I have been going by my scale because I wanted to keep track of what i was loosing weekly since I started my liquid diet. Thank you for adding me to your friends list. I will talk to you soon.

  8. I am down 30 lbs, and working out at the gym I went down 4 sizes. I was in a 22 and now I am in a size 18. The weight is just melting off of me.

  9. I eat lots of Turkey (turkey burger), Chicken and Pork. I try to stay away from my red meats (even though I love them) and use flatbread which is only 90 calories and 8 crabs, you can find them in your local grocery store. I use noodles called Dreamfields which is low in carbs 5 digestible carbs to be exact. go to Dreamfields Pasta Tastes Great, Low Carb Pasta, Diabetic Pasta, Healthy Pasta Recipes and you will see the nutrional facts and even prnt a cupon for a $1.00 off your first box. They taste very good and you can't tell a difference. I work out Monday Wednesday & Friday at the YMCA and weekends I am always on the ove cleaning my house, going for walks on nice days or something active. It takes time but slow and steady wins the race. Thanks for the coment. god luck to you and your journey.

  10. if you don't mind me asking how tall are you and what was your highest weight and how many calories did you consume from start till now?

  11. Thank you Dave. Good luck to you. You will be very happy with your decision. Keep us posted.

  12. Thank You Tiffeny for the photo comment.

  13. Thank you, Cograts on your success. I am new here and trying to learn the in and outs. How do you put your tracker as your signature?

  14. Thank you, Good luck to you and your journey. looking forward to seeing your progress.

  15. Thank you, I must agree that exercise is important, because when you loose the weight and exercise the skin gets a chance to go back. Your skin is elastic and you may have some left over saggy skin but that is least to be expected and my opinion for the ones who don't exercise they will have a lot more excess skin hanging from them. Slow and steady wins the race and as long as Iam loosing weight or inches I am very happy cause I know I am succeeding and will get to where I want to be. I wish you the best and can't wait to see more of your progress.

  16. Thank you, You are right you will not loose it over night, remember this slow and steady wins the race. Don't get discouraged. In the end you will be really happy with the decision you made. I will be 8 weeks out on March 13th and have been going to the Y to work out 3 times a week, in my opinion working out helps a lot. Good luck to you and please keep in touch.

  17. Thank you, your recovery depends on you. get up walk around as much as possible after surgery, it took me 2 - 3 days to start feeling better but i did not walk around as much as I should have. i am a baby when it comes to pain. as for exercising I joined a gym in Feb and go three days a week. i have lost 36lbs and I did not count the inches, but I am down 6 pants sizes from 22/24 to a size 18. which I am slowly working my way out of. Slow and steady really does win the race. I also watch what I eat. I watch how many calories I put in my mouth along with protein (Important) carbs and fiber I all so take a vitamin every day and drink protein shakes. which is something you will need after your surgery I heard unjury was good but to expensive for me. so i went to my local GNC store and bought some there. good luck to you and keep intouch. I will add you as a friend.

  18. thank you.
